Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 3, 2026

CampFoundry respects the privacy of people who visit CampFoundry.com or contact us. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed through this website, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

Information you provide

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, email address, message and any files or other information you include.

Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.

Contact form submissions

The CampFoundry inquiry form collects your name, email address, optional campground or organization, message and an acknowledgment that you have read this Privacy Policy.

Form ID 3 is configured not to store visitor IP addresses or infer submission countries. Hosting, content-delivery and security systems may nevertheless process IP addresses in operational or security logs.

Technical information

Like most websites, CampFoundry.com and its service providers automatically process limited technical information when the site is accessed. This may include:

  • Internet Protocol address
  • Browser, device and operating-system information
  • Date and time of a request
  • Pages or files requested
  • Referring page
  • Error, security and connection information

This information may appear in server, security, content-delivery or diagnostic logs. It is used to deliver the website, protect it from misuse, investigate technical problems and maintain reliable operation.

Cookies and similar technologies

CampFoundry.com does not currently use advertising cookies or behavioral advertising services.

Our hosting, content-delivery and security providers may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to deliver and protect the website. For example, Cloudflare may set a security cookie used to identify and manage automated or potentially harmful traffic.

WordPress may also set necessary cookies for administrators and other authenticated users.

Website analytics

CampFoundry uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use the site and to improve its performance and content. Depending on your consent choices and settings, Google Analytics may process information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from an IP address, device and browser information, referral source and interactions with the site. CampFoundry has not enabled Google advertising features for this site.

Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers. You can use the website consent notice to accept or manage non-essential technologies, enable a browser privacy signal such as Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, and adjust your browser settings. Google Analytics information is handled under Google’s Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection terms.

You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may affect some website or security functions.

How information is used

Information may be used to:

  • Respond to emails and requests
  • Operate and deliver the website
  • Maintain website security and reliability
  • Prevent or investigate misuse
  • Troubleshoot errors
  • Understand website use and improve content and performance
  • Maintain appropriate administrative records
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

CampFoundry does not sell personal information based on the practices currently used on this website.

Service providers

CampFoundry uses service providers to operate the website and handle communications.

GoDaddy provides website hosting and related infrastructure. Cloudflare provides content-delivery and security services. Google Workspace provides email service for CampFoundry addresses. Google provides Google Analytics 4 for website measurement and reporting.

These providers may process limited information on our behalf or for legitimate operational, security and legal purposes under their respective terms and privacy policies.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, investigate misuse or respond to a valid legal request.

Data retention

SMTP delivery logs are automatically deleted after 14 days. Delivered email may be retained as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries and maintain appropriate business records.

The currently installed free edition of the form plugin does not provide the requested automatic 90-day deletion control. WordPress form entries may therefore remain until they are manually deleted. CampFoundry intends to retain form entries only as long as reasonably necessary for responding to communications, maintaining appropriate records, resolving disputes and satisfying applicable legal obligations.

Retention periods for hosting, content-delivery and security logs may differ according to the service provider and the operational or legal purpose involved.

Google Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the CampFoundry Analytics property and Google’s service terms. Aggregated reporting may be retained for longer periods.

Security

CampFoundry and its service providers use reasonable measures intended to protect information and maintain website security. However, no website, email system, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Please use care when deciding what information to send by email or through the internet.

Your choices and requests

You may use the consent notice to manage non-essential technologies and may also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. CampFoundry honors enabled Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals through its consent-management system.

You may also contact CampFoundry to ask about personal information you believe we hold, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. Whether a request can be fulfilled may depend on the information involved and applicable legal or operational requirements.

Privacy requests may be sent to info@campfoundry.com. We may request enough information to understand the request and reasonably verify that it concerns you.

Children’s privacy

CampFoundry.com is not directed to children, and CampFoundry does not knowingly solicit personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through this website, please contact info@campfoundry.com.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the website, its service providers or its information-handling practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
